A girl who gave me her number said she'd call me back. How long do I leave it?

Friday just gone i was out for dinner and a girl working there was really flirty with me. I ended up getting her number (she even favorited it on my phone). I sent her a text the following morning and didn't hear anything that day. The next day I called her in the evening and asked if she wanted to meet for a drink. She said she had plans with friends early this week and she'd call me back. She asked where I was based and when I told her, she said we could meet in the middle. She didn't sound unhappy or irritated that I called. Admittedly I'm not great at picking up signals or reading in-between the lines. What I'd like to know is how long do I leave it before I either leave it or text/call her again. I'm a little confused because even to me she was really flirty with me infront my parents and favorited my number. Any advice would be great, Thanks.

Since you’ve initiated a conversation and even asked her out with both times rejected, then she really needs to be the one reaching out, so don’t do it again. I understand you’d felt like you got a certain vibe from her, but if you’re bad at reading signs then it’s possible that you misconstrued the situation. The distance may play a role too, like personally I could be very interested in the guy but if he’s far enough that we have to meet in the middle then all I can foresee is a lot of driving and gas is crazy right now.

I don't think the distance should be an issue. I live no more than 15 minutes from her. I think I might of over done it when I said I'm not great and picking up signs. It was so obvious that even my parents said I had to ask for her number.

Did you ask for it in front of them? Regardless, if she didn’t respond to the text and doesn’t reach out to set up a date, then I’d leave the situation alone bc you’re not a desperate man, so reaching out a third time after no luck the first two would look like that.
