Girl I used to have a thing only talks to me when I bump into her and when she's had a few drinks?

Without going into too much detail, I was casually dating this girl for a few months before she cut it off in December. Fast forward to now, almost every time I see her out at the bars, she initiates conversation with me. The way things ended with us weren't really great I'd say so I think that's why it's odd for her to come up and talk to me. Last time, when I ran into her a second time, she held my hand, hugged me, and kissed my neck before leaving. This was after months of not talking, so it really threw me off guard. I'd like to get some general input, is she still into me somehow? I'm at a stalemate here on what to think. Is this kind of behavior typical for something like this or is it just the alcohol getting to her?

I would distance myself from that person because the way she reacts leads me to believe that she loosens up under the influence of alcohol and that is definitely not a good sign.

Some people actively seek the effect of alcohol and/or other addictive substance to overcome a deeply rooted psychological problem or to be able to look cool. I would be careful not to overthink the issue because she would not act the same way when sober. That is indicative that the person does need substances to try to relax and to appear in a light that she is not when in a normal state.

i was thinking its possible she still likes you but also doesn't know how you feel so she isn't doing anything more about it (a little chance its also only just the alcohol). maybe talk to her first (could be texting her- during the day) and see how she talks to you and go from there. if its going good ask her out?
