I met a girl recently, she's gorgeous and funny and we have a lot in common. She always used to initiate contact and talks about her problems even before knowing each other well. She told me that she had a brutal break up with her 1 year and half ex and she's happy being single but she used to be always showing interest. We flirted a lot and we spend a lot of time together. When i asked her out she immediately agreed and we had a couples of one-one hangouts and things were going pretty well, she sent me cute pictures of hers and really cute messages like how she's lucky that she have me and how and how having me in her life is enough and that cheesy talk. At that moment i was ready to go for the confess but after 3 days later she completely changed for a while and she became really cold and distant. We used to talk every day but now we rarely speak. She lost interest? Ok i get it. But the mysterious part is after she went cold and my feeling went cold too she's always texting out of the blue and send reels and jokes and acting like she cares. That's why i'm really confused!!

I think the thing about her ex is just an excuse, which raises my suspicions she could be using you to compensate for the loss of a previous partner. She's playing hot and cold in the sense that sometimes she's feeling interested and flirty, but other times she couldn't care less.

You seem like a genuinely good person, so I'd suggest keep doing what you're currently doing and see how things progress. However, you should be cautious of yourself, because if this girl continues playing games it's a warning sign, remember you shouldn't give priority to anyone who doesn't make you a priority.
