Is she interested in you as a friend or just wanted your attention?
Why would she be reacting like this?
Context:
I didn't ignore her on purpose, I was just giving her some time to relax and think (she seemed to be going through a lot lately, I think).
There's a shy girl that I've met a few months ago, she was showing signs of nervousness only with me, playing with her hair, treats me differently from others, etc. for some reason.
It reached a point were got a little hostile out of nowhere by just having a normal conversation. At that point I stopped to think that she might've given me a hint of try to ask her out, eventually I did but she rejected me. Afterwards I kept a little distance just for her not to think that I'm pushing her to hangout. I kept doing other stuff during that time until I eventually found out that she's doing something.
It seems that she's trying to get my attention by helping me with some things by herself (I didn't asked her for help) and as the days passed, she seems to be helping me out more to the point that it seems to be almost noticeable. She wasn't like this when I met her neither.
