Take the last person that did this to you and use that as the reference. What do you think she meant when you saw her smile at her? What did you want to do as a result of seeing her smile at you?

Don't pick up girls in clubs just go to have drinks and fun. Try meeting girls who have similar interests if you like chess join a chess club and meet girls there like skiing meet girls at ski resorts. I have no idea. A smile could mean a lot of things. Depends on how she smiles. If she was just being nice like some people smile some even subconsciously.

Id only smile at a guy I think is cute. Trying to give him the green light that he can shoot his shot. As a girl I do not smile at men I’m not even interested in because last thing I wanna do is give him the slightest thought that he has a chance.
