Should I comfort this girl I've gone out with a few times when she's having a shitty day or keep my distance?

We work in the same building, usually see her outside and she told me she's having a shitty day. I tried to comfort her and she thanked for supporting her, and for listening

Saw her a few yours later with her head down. Right next to where I was sitting outside. Didn't want to intrude again, but should I if I see her again like that?

I think if you want to do that you should just go for it. In the worst case it would be a no, but chances are she will apprecciate and hopefully will get a drink with you
