Am I the only one who is super annoyed at people who gossip?

Many clients in the nail salon i work at talk about other women say mean things like "This dermatologist used to be super fat and had a moustache and now she looks skinny" and stuff like that. They literally say mean things or gossip in a "positive" way. Like, one client said after one woman with fake eyelashes and fake lips came by to get an appointment "Oh i know her she is super drop dead gorgeous and she used to date a super hot guy beyond comparison" with a very over exaggerated happy voice lol. What the hell is wrong with some people?

Yeah it’s rude asf and childish, there’s a huge difference between having a casual conversation and shit talking someone, I don’t think saying the positive things is necessarily bad but if their talking rude and negative about someone, that gets on my nerves but literally going on and on about it at work is unprofessional too.

Gossip is a crappy thing to do but I just ignore it and move on. I feel for you, though: you've got it all day with your clients. That's gotta suck.
