Why do girls get tattoos? Would you date a girl who has tattoos?

An amazing independent woman that I really like had recently just gotten two small tattoos and I don't know how I feel about that. I know that a person having a tattoo does not make them a bad person but personally I wouldn't get one because to me it seems impure to have tattoos on me. I have grown to know that it's ok to have tattoos if they have a meaning but I don't understand one would make such important decision.

Why is it that I feel this way?

People want to get tattoos for a number of reasons. Majority of people don’t think constantly about being ‘pure’ or think tattoos are ‘impure’…we’re just people. Humans like to express themselves and like art, some humans like it on their own body

They lack social skills and want to use it as a conversation starter.

I think it always looks bad and makes them less attractive.

I find tattoos nasty so I would not. They are not a fashion statement too me.

I would as long s it isn't overdone. If she has face or neck tats, hard pass for me.
