There’s something strange happening with one housemate at university which has got me wondering. In the beginning, we were super cool, she’d offer me food, we’d talk regularly. She’d say hi. One time we spoke for over 2 hours just general conversation, interests, hobbies, families, pretty much everything. I wasn’t planning on having a conversation but she clearly wanted to talk. she even asked for my socials. When she followed me she showed me all her archived pictures/ embarrassing pictures. I ended up enjoying the conversation.
Out of nowhere she goes cold on me to my surprise. She says hi to everyone all the time except me. When someone walks in the dining area, she immediately says hey! Hi! When I walk, it’s complete silence. She never says anything to me but I ALWAYS catch her looking at me in the dining area. Almost every single time. I feel there’s someone looking at me So I look back & catch her staring. This happens for weeks so I ask her if everything is okay to which she says she’s been busy with school
(Obviously not true because she speaks to everyone) I just kept my distance since then.
Few weeks later she starts talking to me out of the blue. We become cool again.. I bought her a snack she really liked. She was so happy. I flew out before for Christmas. Before I did, she wished me safe journey in person.
Fast forward to after the holidays… she goes super cold again. When she sees me, says nothing. But will start a conversation with literally everyone else.
It makes things quite awkward. From my experience girls may do this when they like you. But something even stranger happened
I realised she unfollowed me from all socials.
I asked her to which she replied “oh, you have my number” I didn’t say anything.
However this person STILL keeps looking at me.. what could this mean?
