Only loud, bitter, angry female activists who gain money and celebrity as self-appointed spokespersons for feminism say that men are toxic, oppressive, dangerous, disposable, interchangeable, and essentially without intrinsic value. But they are an extreme minority. Real women don't have that attitude.

Those militant activists are no different than those who claim to speak for the entire black community or LGBT community. They're ass holes.

I think it's funny how some men are so threatened by the fact that women simply have more choices now.

So what if women can go to college, have careers or own their own businesses if they choose? Or simply have a job and support themselves without the need to be dependent on a man for financial support. I, personally, think that is admirable.

Every one of my girlfriends had decent jobs and places to live, and supported themselves. Only one of the eight played me for my money. But I figure that one was my fault for being gullible.

I love women with intellect, education, intuition, work ethic, pluck, determination, self respect and integrity, who won't put up with lies, manipulation, disrespect or dominance. They can be all those things and still be tender, nurturing, empathetic, and feminine.

Do some men actually long for some time-gone-by when women lived with their parents until some suitor came along? They want the kind of woman who swooned over any man who paid attention to her while the men got to pick and choose?

Heterosexual women can support themselves, but they would still like to have a male companion who admires and respects them and whom they admire, respect and trust.

Most women would love to have a partner who is a loyal, trusted best friend and sex partner. But maybe not all of them want to be a helpless dependent, a baby factory and servant, or treated like an inferior. Maybe women simply don't want to be used and dominated by self centered ass holes.

Why would a man expect a woman to respect him if he doesn't respect her?

I don't assume that the growing number of single women is all women's fault. Maybe the number of men who are worth a damn is also declining. Some guys don't know how to be gentlemen; some are incompetent and don't know how to do anything that requires manual labor; some have unrealistic preferences/requirements when it comes to women. And some are super judgmental toward women. Some are the counterparts to those bitter, angry feminists they so despise.

I'm living that life style now. It's not my preferred choice but it is what it is. I'm working on my divorce. I know however I don't care to become one of those stats number. I much prefer to find a strong equal match for myself. I hope I can find a man who'd I'd compliment and be able to meet his needs and he meet mine equally. I know there are plenty of good men out there. I don't care to live a lonesome existence but that is dependent on finding someone compatible.

The reality being single is better than being in a serious relationship or marriage but that's only if that individual person can handle being single.

@Hispanic-Cool-Guy The sacrifice is what men have always had to sacrifice. Think about it, what is the classic nuclear family stereotype: The husband, wife, and children. The husband goes to work while the wife cares for the kids. It is an illusion to believe anyone can have a successful, hard-charging career, while being single-parent. Either the career of children will suffer.

Right now women have the luxury to choose being either a career woman OR a stay-at-home mom. Men don't have this option (not really). For a man to want to be a "stay-at-home-dad" means the end of his relationship (let's be real). If women choose to lead in the corporate world they will have to make real sacrifices.

Stay at home wives and moms are for dudes that have a fat bank account who can support a whole family unit of 3 to 5 people on just one income.

In today's world more than in pervious generations that stay at home mom concept is simply isn't affordable to most men in the U. S. much less the rest of the world where most countries economies are just banana republics in the literal sense and just mostly eat rice and beans 6 days a week.

The problem is when all of the real, hard, grinding, dangerous, issues are dropped in the lap of women and the "bubble" is burst. I submit that most women have zero idea what is means to deal with the harshest problems of society and when they are forced to do so, they will be SHOCKED.

@meetkitty123 Not true, the birth rate is plummeting, and has been since I was a kid. Every first-world, post-industrial country is experiencing this. In Japan more adult diapers are sold than baby diapers and we are on the same trajectory. China has similar issues from their disaster of the since cancelled "one-child" policy. THIS (in my opinion) is China is being so aggressive now as they literally won't have the manpower in the future to obtain the resources they need.

First world nations are literally dying off. What are women going to do about it? The future is in your hands.

As for birthrates, here is where the case for immigration needs to be made. We do need to replenish our selves and there is great potential in modern immigrants, HOWEVER; this can't be through open borders. We need to properly vet and identify immigrants (from all nations) who will ADD to our society and be a net-positive.

@KrakenAttackin I feel this is a matter which has much to do with social dynamics as it does with nature and a change in our developments and elements. We are no longer living in a world where we have to birth 17 children just to guarantee at least 2 survive. We also do not have the luscious agriculture land we once did before in order to withstand over population. Nature has a way of balancing itself out now with less land but humans living longer, live birth survival rates at it's highest we are not in need for larger populations.

As for china's one child rule... Well they reached an interesting challenge where they had more men than women in the areas where the one child law had been established. In those areas many First born girls were abandoned, put up for adoption if a woman was to become with child and an medical exams proved the child was a boy and if it showed it was another girl like the pregnancy was terminated. Many pregnancies where terminated if the child was a girl... At times it was so dangerous in these areas where the one child law was applied that being a single mother was dangerous. There were accounts of single women being adducted and forced to "miscarry". China relinquished this law when they realized while men maybe the preferred gender they screwed up by lowing the female to male ratio and hindered their countries chance of reproducing because they didn't have enough women in those areas. So yes You are correct their number in population was indeed hindered but their culture of preferring men and down grading a woman's worth was the main cause... Now a point which just crossed my mind... if those very few women born to them were to begin to take one western cultural ideology where they begin to believe they do not need a man to support them... and their women begin to demand equal rights (as everyone deserves) but choose to live an "independent" lifestyle without a man. Then indeed China is screwed

Interesting facts on diapers... There's a new trend of using cloth diapers. Europe leads the way with cloth diapers and the trend is reaching our shore. I myself used cloth diapers on my youngest child. And if I was to have another I would do the same.

As for the West, if men are to turn over the power and control to women, women will be accountable for fundamental preservation (or destruction) of our current society.
