If you pay attention girls go more often barefoot than guy. All of my exs used to wear socks at home excepted after shower or after waking up in the morning while I am most of the time barefoot. We can also take the example of my girl friends who are barefoot a lot compared to the boys.

Plus, guys are rarely seen with sandals while girls wear them a lot.
