Recently, I met a girl from dating app that I've been talking to for a month. We met two times, not sure if it counted as dates. I'm quite interested in her. Our first meet was dinner and then drinks (approx: 5-6hours) and then we had another one yesterday (Dinner, Massage, Wash Car) (Approx: 5-6 hours). She is chinese and tall. It seems like she have many male friends as well as girls. We call each other stupid/idiot/ugly and also we tend to vibe well. She isn't great at English so she said she barely speaks English to people. She said because I'm stupid so she feel comfy speak to me. When she talks about her colleagues she also calls them stupid. So I'm not sure if she is like this to all guys or only me. I try to playfully flirt by petting her but she doesn't like being pet. She is quite pretty so maybe popular. She offered splitting our first meal, she paid for drinks and also Uber. 2nd date, I paid everything since she paid first. I am starting to have feelings for her. Based on this, do you think she is only interested in friendship or date?

Me personally, it’s intentions were implied by use of the dating app. You shouldn’t feel discouraged from making confident and respectful advances. Maybe find out the type of flirting she refers. Petting doesn’t seem like an ideal way of flirting lol. some could take this as condescending or patronizing. Don’t stray away too much from romantic things. Joking around and clowning with each other is fun but remember too much of anything can be exactly that: “too much.” the relationship could venture into more of a friend thing. She’s made it clear that she likes you, not using you, and not uncomfortable. It’s still a bit early to have these questions. remember everyone moves at different paces. it’s up to you to find out the right pace for her to start developing stronger feelings. a good rule of thumb i follow is not to ask if she likes me but instead ask what can i do to make her like me more. also if it gets to the point where you feel like the feeling is not mutual and you’re putting in way more effort than she is, you should take that as a good indicator. remember to stay confident and pursue your goal while respecting her pace!
