I am straight though. But I have noticed girls stare in a very subtle way and a lot of times I have noticed girls staring at me when I am not looking. And quickly look away as I turn my head. Guys stare a lot but girls seem to ignore.

1. Girls may be staring at you subtly, but you're not noticing. Many girls are socialized to look away quickly or stare discreetly, so you might miss their glances.

I’m not exactly sure of what you’re asking, but usually when people stare at you it’s because you look strange or you are good looking, but you have been told you’re handsome so it’s probably that. As to guys staring at you more than girls, I’m not sure.. maybe girls are more aware their staring and try to hide it?
