Girl's Behavior

If I have been hanging out alone and texting a lot recently with this one girl from my friend group can this mean she likes me even after year?

So this girl and i have been in the same friend group for a year but only hung out when it was with a group, we got along pretty well and broke the touch barrier a while ago as we have tickled and play fought eachother before. But then i went into a short relationship 2 months ago but it ended after a month. (I didn’t like the friend group girl by the way this is a different one) after i ended this “relationship” she started inviting me over and hanging out with me one on one for the first time and its looking a little suspicious, within a week we have baked a cake, watched a movie, stayed up till 2 am texting (twice), had a pillow fight, talked about life problems and just done a lot of hanging out and we have gotten a lot closer. I am over the last girl from before but im suspicious now that this girl from my friendgroup might like me so girls and guys i need to know if im onto something or if im just being an idiot. A big thing though would be we had a conversation on why dating is so dumb in high school and a bad idea so that is why im still doubtfull.
