Have you noticed you should not take your girlfriend’s advice that often?

I was talking with that person I’ve been interested in and everytime I thought of something myself, it ended up well.

And we had amazing convos.

When my friends suggested the ideas of messages and I followed, it didn’t work in my favor. I now feel sill6 and stupid. I asked suggestions because I was nervous, seems like had I done things myself I’d do better.

It means you have a great intuition when it comes to these things. You being in the situation are able to pick up on things and intuitively know what will be best to do or say. Some people who don’t have sharp intuition are not as good at this, but since your intuition is sharp, you should lean into it.


It’s like someone with a very developed culinary intuition will be able to deviate from a recipe book and make something even more delicious by changing up some things that they intuitively feel will make the dish better. Other people do very poorly when they don’t follow a recipe book because their culinary intuition isn’t developed enough.

But I already used some of their tips for messages and it didn’t work, now I am left disappointed and lesson learned.

Yeah… Unfortunately. But, as you said. Lesson learned! So at least moving forward, you know what to do instead. I bet you can probably tap into that same intuition to figure out what’s the best way to salvage these situations too though. 🙂

I guess, I can lean back to myself, when we talk again and act like myself and vibe the same way as I used to and as he found it attractive in me. Instead of taking suggestions of my friends, who have no idea what type of person I might be Talking to. They were suggesting me I am too hard to get and maybe I should be a bit more warm, and imply more of excitement our convos. I did that and now he’s not excited anymore I get a feeling 😂 He liked me hard to get and mysterious I think. I still am both, I just didn’t want to be intimidating

There are plenty of different charismatic and attractive personalities that attract people in their own unique way. You have a way of doing things that feels most natural to you and you’ve had the most success with that. I’d say, lean into your intuition and your natural strengths and I’m sure that’ll help, since your intuition is reliable. 🍀

i take all advice with a grain of salt and then filter it through my own judgments. sometimes friends have their own agendas, offer advice from their own personal perspectives, or perhaps what they want for you... all that advice might be counter with what is best.

i always welcome advice from friends but just because they offer it doesn't mean i'm going to follow it. i'll listen, digest, and then make the decision i think is best

You can't follow just anyone no matter if they are your "friend" or whatever especially when you in a relationship don't ever ever ask a single friend a question about your relationship... Cuz they most likely bitter and just want you to be bitter with them lol but so

Like some of the messages, my friends suggested me to sound more excited and happy and because they are more experienced I followed their advice. I think though that this guy has liked me because I was so mysterious and I was myself. And I now feel bad. Because I don’t get the same vibe from him which I got when I messaged him my own thoughts.

The only time I wouldn't take a woman's advice is in certain business or employment type situations. Generally speaking, however, you will never, ever go wrong following a woman's instructions or suggestions, in my experience.

Remember what I said in the other post. Don’t take advice from other girls it’s usually bad. Ask your brothers if u have any or your dad trust me it’ll be a more meaningful response

I have noticed that too, unfortunately. Women tend not to give very helpful dating advice. I think women's personalities are just too different for them to really provide helpful insights about other women.

Advise is great, but do you really want be with a person who doesn't like you for you. I guess sometimes you gotta take advice with a grain of salt.
