What do you do when being a gentleman in a relationship simply isn’t good enough?

Like toward the end of my relationship she said she likes guys who are more physically threatening towards her and I give a blank stare because it doesn’t make any sense to me. I stood by this girl at all times showing her how much I cared for her from being late to work to support her when she was in the er. To getting her rides to and from work before we got our car. To buying her lunch when we worked together. To surprising her with tickets to a live performance of the masked singer when it came to town. For her birthday I bought her a pink flower covered coach purse

You find someone who will treat you with kindness, love and loyalty, like you deserve. I haven’t met many women like her, so I do not believe that her mindset is the majority, more like a rarity. I don’t understand her thoughts on that. Why would you want someone physically threatening?

Different folks like different strokes. You guys just wasn't right for eachother and that's okay. Just do you and let others do them, eventually you'll find the right one. I personally love gentleman and I'm sure you'll find a partner who will appreciate you being a gentleman.
