How should I respond when a beautiful girl is staring into my eyes relentlessly?

I went to eat fast food and the cashier girl was super hot, petite, cute and beautiful.

But I'm not expecting to talk to her or anything. I'm expecting to just order my food. I say hi, and I look at the menu and I say what I want.

And the whole time she is staring me down. And like, I'm not trying to go around flirting or finding a date or anything. I just want to eat.

I feel like she's pressuring me for a flirt or something.

This kind of thing happens whenever a girl is very good looking. They want to make eye contact and it's not that I can't make eye contact.

But like, if we are just staring deeply into eachothers eyes now what? I'm supposed to ask her for a date or something?

It's just strange to me. And I can hold eye contact all day. But I don't want to in such a situation as me ordering food.

Like why are these girls doing this? Normally when you order food the cashier barely looks at you. They say hi ok eye contact for like an instant. They look at their little screen in front of them and they input my order.

That is a normal interaction.

I am assuming she wants something from me. She wants me to flirt. She's hoping I'm a guy who is a player or something.

I feel like they are disappointed when I pretty much act like I don't care 1 bit and I just carry on. Say thanks and thats it.

After that they aren't so interested anymore.

So I work in a similar position. I bartend part time and I can tell you that making eye contact doesn't mean a thing. I do it to every person I serve. I will stare at them until they order so they know that I am paying attention to them and not wandering off to the next person. Don't overthink what it is when someone in customer service or a hospitality position seems overly attentive or nice to you. It is what we are supposed to do and some of us make our money or tips that way.

This isn't a one time thing at a bar. This is like every time I come across a hot girl she is staring into my eyes regardless of the situation.

One time recently I was literally crossing the crosswalk, and a girl waiting on the other side is staring at me when I look at her and she maintains eye contact as I cross the street.

Then I just looked away when I got to the other side and kept on walking because it's strange that she would do such a thing.

It happens all the time.

Since when did women stare men down? I would think women are afraid to give men too much eye contact lest they get the wrong idea and think she likes him, and then she has this annoying man approaching her and trying to get her number.

You just don't want me to get the idea that I am attractive. But I already know it's true.

I already know that these girls are giving me eye contact on purpose.

The question is wtf do they expect me to do.

But I'm not allowed to know that. As a man I am not supposed to imagine that women would be attracted to me. It makes you think I must think highly of myself or I am self absorbed.

It's just the reality of being me that everywhere I go women are making uncomfortably LONG eye contact with me.

It's far from normal. And only the beautiful and confident girls will do it.

My question is like, why? What is their goal?

Obviously you don't believe any of it but hey it is what it is.
