My friend *Mia* talks constantly and she hogs the spotlight and ruined my birthday party for my friends and I a bit; and caused 3 out of 4 of my friends to have meltdowns. We all have Asperger’s, including that friend, who went on all day about special interests that no one else shares and herself, without giving anyone else a chance to speak. I know *Mia* means well and is a good person. She’s just really severe on the spectrum and clueless about appropriate behaviour and social cues. She’s not capable of understanding how to maintain a conversation. I want to stay friends with her and I will. I know she can’t help it. I just wished the rest of us could get to join in with conversations, as a group.

You shouldn't avoid unless she "intentionally" Affect you, and those close to you. If it does affect you and those close to you, then i'm afraid you might need to avoid as it will cause embarrassment for you, as everyone will start pointing Fingers at you, as you're the One that brought her along.🤷♂️
lol jealousy drips out of u
It’s not jealousy, it’s annoying when someone talks so much about themselves and gives no one else a chance to talk.
