Why does my mean friend get more guys than me?

There’s a girl in my group of friends. She’s pretty and funny but sometimes not the nicest person to other girls. She bullies me in front of guys so she can seem better by comparison and puts me down, bullied my other friend yet the guys all seem to fall in love with her?

She told me she envied my looks and thinks I’m prettier even though I think she’s really pretty too. But how come all the guys end up falling in love with her?

She cheated on her ex with my boyfriend and her ex is still in love with her after all these years.

Do girls have to be mean to get guys? Do guys like mean girls?

Honestly I don’t know why you’re still friends w her. I’d walk. This isn’t a friendship if she acts that way. When I read your posting it made me think of the movie mean girls. You need to move on. I don’t know how genuine her comment to you was about your looks. Again makes me think of means girls. Telling you one thing while mocking you behind your back. Regardless move on. As for men falling in “love” w her. Some men like feisty chicks. But a lot of times that’s alluded to sex. Thinning she’s going to be crazy in bed, wild, let you pull her hair, maybe even slap her on the face w it. But in reality if she’s always like that, a man will pick up on that which is most likely going to deter him from wanting a relationship w her. They may want to smash her. But to be in a serious relationship w? No. Don’t change unless it’s for the better. Most me. Who are masculine, who have balls aren’t going to let her disrespect them like that, especially in public. Most of these men who you say fall in love w her, does she sleep w them? Probably not. They’re probably in the friend zone, so she can treat them this way because they’re like little puppies waiting, hoping to get a turn.

Thanks. Yeah I know she isn't my real friend. She's more in the wider group anyway, we're not close and we don't like each other that much. She did say she envies me which is why she hooked up with my boyfriend. I will move on once the group disbands.

No seriously, men fall for her and do anything for her. Some men have even cut off their friends because she asked them to. She's had back to back relationships and hasn't been single since she was 16. Her ex called to say he's still in love with her even though she cheated and then blocked him on everything so he couldn't see her location (with the other guy.)

So let her have her fun. As she gets older, the amount of men who come knocking at her door now won’t be as plentiful as they are now. To me those men are simps, no self respect. Would you say a lot of them are masculine? Or do they seem more feminized? They waiting around like dogs to get their turn. Maybe because they know her reputation of sleeping around w men. So again are they really wanting a relationship where or just wanting to hit it? Because as much as men don’t like behind honest because we’re shamed for it, body count matters to a lot of men. I’m assuming she’s close to you in age? She’s probably got a few good years left before reality hits that she is going to have a hard time meeting a potential suitor. Her looks will fade. I’m sorry to hear about what happened w your boyfriend. But it’s better that it happened sooner than later because that tells you what kind of boyfriend you had. You already know how she is so no surprise.

I don't know how you’re still friends with someone who bullies you like that. But no, I don’t think being mean scores points with guys, or putting down another person in front of them, like it’s not “hot”. Sometimes there’s just the girl or girls in the group that gets all the guys and you don’t. Maybe she is more outgoing or good looking, I don't know but who cares about the male gaze.

She’s definitely more outgoing, but good looking? She’s pretty but there are other girls who are prettier. She’s very charming though. Literally a guy said to her “you’re such a bitch” and said he loved it. It’s so strange.

False confidence. Truly confident/healthy people do not want to be mistreated. They know better than to think they or anyone else deserves that nonsense. It’s easy to be a terrible person to other people.. it’s weak. It takes a strong and healthy person to treat others properly. Healthy secure men do not want a female who mistreats them.
