Can I look and dress girly, but still be a tomboy?

curiousaboutthis

I’ve been a bit of a tomboy for years, but I’m not sure if I count as one.

My hair is mid-length and I generally only wear graphic tees, graphic crew socks, J-crew chino shorts/Jeans/knee-length jeans, slip-on sneakers/thrift sneakers/ Walmart marvel “vans”, and sometimes a hat (when my hair is greasy and I don’t have time for a shower).

Some boyish things I like: kayaking, anything safe that’ll give me adrenaline, basketball, roller blading, hip-hop, ice hockey, and some video games (Fortnite, cod, apex, Minecraft, Lego games, halo 4 [only 4], escapists, slime rancher, etc…).

Some girlish things I like: makeup, sometimes nails, hygiene (lol), sleepover games (ex: truth or dare), face masks, inde-pop, journaling, painting, decorating, creative writing, photography, POVs, acting, and hairstyles.

I used to have only guy friends and most were feminine. Now, along with my guy friends who are more masculine I have some girl friends who are the same femininity/masculinity as me.

I don’t like most sports, but I don’t hate them. I don’t read often but I’m trying to start. I am considered a dork and a straight A student, but I don’t take much time on school generally.

I can be lazy sometimes. I serve in my church. I have never inflicted any drama (except once I punched my guy friend for stealing my phone to text). I am very soft spoken until I know you.

I am generally lighthearted, but to the contrary, I have diagnosed Anxiety and ADHD. I don’t open up enough about my emotions (im working on it.) I’ve loved Spider-Man since age 2(the rest of the MCU can die in a hole).

I like feminine and high energy boys mostly. Idc if my guy friend says a girl is hot in front of me (why would I).

That was my character, thanks for reading if you made it here. If there’s anything else that you want to know, I will add. Please let me know if I am a tomboy or something else.

Sorry if I made normal things masc/fem, it’s just how I associate it. Thank you!!
