Girls can a guy be too intimidating?

I only ask because I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with me.. I'm either very unattractive or intimidating.. I'm not here to brag or anything i am genuinely concerned.. I try to talk to women but it never goes anywhere.. I don't use pick up lines or stuff like that. I just try and start a general conversation. They usually blow me off pretty quickly..

For reference I'm tall (over 6 feet) I weight train and eat accordingly to build muscle and lose body fat ( I have 6 pack abs but that doesn't matter as you can't see it with my shirt on but you can tell I have some muscle mass) again I'm not bragging I just wanted to put some context in there.

Just girl reference some guys find very hot girls intimidating.. I had no idea that women didn't think the same.. thanks for clearing that up.

Not to me personally. At least I haven't met one that is intimidating. I think for me that working in a bar for years has made me pretty numb to a lot of things. You have to have thick skin around drunk people. Where are you meeting these girls? That could be half the problem. Approaching girls in certain places can be worse than others. I don't know what else could be the issue since I don't really know you or how you interact with girls other than the little detail you provide.

Yes you might be intimidating to a woman who isn’t confident in her own looks. Do you smile at women? Appear approachable? Laugh and make eye contact? That will help a woman who is intimidated feel a bit more at ease and likely to approach you.

Yes I always smile , make eye contact, etc.. .. but I'm beginning to believe a person can be too " unattractive " and nothing else matters after that.

No, I don’t think anyone is too unattractive. I highly doubt you are. Where are you approaching these women?

Various locations.. I'm not creepy about it.. it usually just simple question or just a conversation. .. I know women don't want to be " hit on" all the time..

Maybe it’s just the wrong women. Are you hoping to date? Try a dating app? Then you will know right off if a woman finds you attractive if she responds to you. Do you agree?

Yeah probably the wrong woman.. there sure are a lot of them lol. I'm very skeptical of dating apps there are sooo many fake profiles on them..

However I am sure too monstrously muscly can be intimidating
