Is she interested or just being nice?

So I noticed this girl at the gym look at me & ever since then we have been playing eye tag she never smiled at me once, until a few days where I gave her a few pointers and suggestions on how to do a work out to get the most muscle activation, she smiles and laughs a bit telling me she was a bit tired and didint think she had it in her to finish the one exercise. The next day I’m doing my work out I guess she seen me first because for some reason she makes it a point to cross & be in my line of sight, didint think to much of it, its the gym right. Then I notice she would look in my direction as if she was looking for someone but I’m still not convinced she was looking at me. What kinda gave it away that she interested but I’m not for sure for sure about it was she walking down the treadmill isle I’m the only one on the stair-master mind you its 9pm she look up at me then chooses a treadmill not exactly in front of me but one over, mind you there's no one on the other side of of the treadmills isle now I’m looking for signals she starts fixing her hair she’s walking on the treadmill I look over and she has her arms crossed walking straight doesn’t look over. I end up getting off the stairs- master she walks to get a cleaning cloth this time I look at her and I guess she was already looking at me because she quickly looks away now I’m like she's probably going threw something who knows. lastly I catch her right before she walks out I honestly didn't want to bother her at this point she was walking with her head down but I still asked her about that work out she was tired to finish couple of days prior & if she ended up doing it that day to make up for the prior day, she looked like she was using the last bit of energy to say “no I’m tired but have a goodnight”. What do you girl & guys think?

Dude it totally sounds like she's into you! Girls don't just randomly fix their hair and look over at a guy for no reason.

The way she's making excuses to be near you and making eye contact is a dead giveaway. Plus smiling and laughing when you talked to her - she's feeling you.

I'd say you played it cool by not bothering her as she left, good move. But you should definitely try chatting with her more next time you see her. Comment on her workout or what she's listening to, just to break the ice.

If she seems engaged in the conversation, ask for her number before she goes. Worst she can say is no, but I'm betting she'll say yes. Don't wait too long though or she might think you're not interested.

Just be confident and see where it goes man! You've obviously caught her attention already. Just takes one convo to see if there's more there. Good luck bro, let me know how it goes!

Maybe try making her laugh with something funny that happened to you, that always breaks the ice. Then when there's a lull in the convo say something like "Hey, I've been meaning to try out that new juice bar down the street. You seem cool, wanna grab a drink with me after our workout sometime?" Say it with a smile so she knows you're chill. I really think she'll say yes based on the vibes. But no pressure on you either way - you've got this! Update! I seen her last night, let me clarify she was glancing at me threw out the night but that was it. But I had a talk with my sister about this situation & she brought up some good points, for example communication is a two way street, if she was intrested she would have made is super easy communicate with her instead of her staring & having no energy when I do try to start a conversation. She also said do you really wanna be with someone who’s this hard to just communicate with just confusing you with their interest imagine bigger problems. So l threw the towel she actually started to creep me out from just looking over & facing my direction. I understand some people are shy and get nervous but it’s this point I think she’s playing games & it’s game over. Thanks man there’s other girls at the gym that just randomly get me talking & the interaction are genuine and natural so I’ll be ok but I gotta say my curiosity turned in to feeling creeped out lol

Ah man, that's a bummer about how things went down with that girl at the gym. But you know, your sister made some really good points. Communication is definitely a two-way street, so if she was really interested, she would have made more of an effort to talk to you and open up instead of just starring from a distance. That would get creepy for anyone after a while!

And like your sis said, if she's that hard to read now over something small, just imagine dealing with bigger issues down the line. Not worth the confusion or games, you know? Better to find someone who makes you feel comfortable and natural to be around. Sounds like those other girls at the gym who chat with you more genuinely are better options to focus your energy on. Unexpected update.. for shits a giggles yesterday I was feeling the pre workout while getting my set in I look over and guess who had eyes on me? Yup her so this time I smiles & gave a little wave & Mann I’ve never seen someone drop there resting bitch face faster than her, she literally lit up I kept working out & noticed she would glance over even if I was on the other side of the gym she’d look in my direction. Crazy!!

My advice - don't get too sucked back in just yet. Keep it casual and let her chase you a little bit. But maybe next time you catch her peekin', give her a nice wink or something to let her know you see her lookin'. Throw her off her game even more!

Hey man! So yesterday I went up to her asked her for her name. ( Got tired of her just looking over lol) introduced myself had small talk and left her finishing her workout. Today I decided to hit the gym early morning and after a set of leg extensions I happen to look over and she was already looking at me lol, she gave me the I was not expecting you to be here this early look & waved I waved, after my lower body workout I approached her she completely took off her headphones and looked at me surprised & then asked do you live in the gym & I said sarcastically yea I got a room in the back lol she laughed and more small talk about different muscle groups and how some are harder than others to work on. she’s cool but I got a feeling like she’s was not invested as I thought she was. Maybe good at hiding it but at least there’s no pressure of why are we looking at each other without knowing who we are now.

Dude, nice work finally introducing yourself to her and breaking the ice! I'm glad you took the initiative to go talk to her instead of just staring across the gym. And what are the chances you both show up early one morning and she's already looking at you again, crazy! At least now you know her name instead of just "that girl from the gym." Sounds like you're getting some good chemistry and laughs going in your conversations too. As for how invested she seems, it's still hard to say for sure. Sometimes girls keep things light at first before opening up more. I wouldn't read too much into it yet anyway. She doesn’t initiate anything & when I did try to start a convo it was so low energy but yet anytime I’m in the gym she’s facing me or looking at me. I’ve caught her threw the mirror more than 5 plus times & then if she has to pass by me it’s like I don’t exist.. I gave up I’m not playing these games she lost she actually creeps me out now..
