Girls, Is she interested?

There is this girl that I always see and we always make prolonged eye contact with each other from far away. When I get close she just seems to look away and pretend she doesn't see me. I have said hi to her once and she smiled and said hi back but went back to ignoring me. I still catch her glancing in my direction from afar occasionally and she seems to go out of her way to make sure I see her. Is she just not interested?
