Why does Ex acts weird?

Ex and I were stuck in a theatre sitting next to each other. All the while he didn’t talk and neither did I. We both ignored each other to the best.
When his friend asked about me he said ‘We used to talk but not anymore’ very casually while he was the one who didn’t want anything. I dismissed it. J did notice my ex checking on me every other minute.

Then I saw him viewing my LinkedIn profile out of nowhere.

You do realize that in order to catch him looking every other minute you’ve got to be paying him a pretty good amount of attention, right? Which to me means at several instances, he also caught you checking on him. That is not a jab or accusation, just simple logic based on how frequently you claim to have caught he checking in.
Then you say his acting weird for doing the literal exact thing you’re doing: not addressing him verbally or even acknowledging his presence. Totally fine if you were just trying to match his energy, but can’t call it weird when you did it too. Lastly, it sounds like you weren’t being very honest with yourself about it being a situationship vs a relationship, since you’re calling him an whole ex and he’s isn’t claiming you at all outside of a talking phase. That has to sting.
