I do mention other guys. I mean it's not like I will brag about other guys or constantly bring them up in conversation, but if what we're talking about reminds me of another guy (what he has said, done, if something was funny or if he was mean etc), I won't hesitate to say it. That's the thing with me, if I really like a guy, I WILL try to talk about anything and everything with him, including other guys. And it doesn't really mean anything besides the fact that I'm just trying to make conversation.
Very true. I talk to my guy friends about the guy I like and ask for advice about him because we're just friends. One time I made a point to mention a guy I like to one of my guy friends to deter him from asking me out but he did anyway. I swear some guys are slow...

I do that sometimes. I do that to guys that I am unsure of. Like I don't know how they feel towards me, so I want to see how they react when I talk about a guy. I don't do that to guys that I know for sure if they like me. A lot of girls though will do that to guys even if they know they like them, and that's wrong, cause that's just playing games, and it's breaking a heart, but they do it to be bitches or because they have a big ego. However, it's not as bad if you don't know if the guy likes you and you mention a guy to see what his reaction is. But even that is still wrong, but I will do that sometimes, haha. I know it's messed up. Nobody should play games.
yes, yes they do. Its a tactic used by women to test the interest of the guy they are interested in. Its a way that women make guys jealous. Sometime women are unaware they are even doing talking about other guys, and sometimes they are FULLY aware they are talking about other guys in front of the guy we like. However there is the chance that they are not trying to make that guy jealous and just making conversation.
There is, unequivocally no better way to make me fall at her feet than for her to mention the other guys she's dating, or whom she's interested in. Once she lets me know that there are other men who have a legitimate chance to have intercourse with her, she'll have me in the palm of her hand.
I think that's true.At least for me it is.I mean if I like a guy but just as friends and I see he is going to want more (or he is confused by me, because I'm very teasy somehow) I usually talk to him about others so that he understands we're friends.Even though some times, although I do LIKE someone-I will mention someone else but just that.not talk about him a lot and be really happy about it...And I try avoiding it.
Some girls do it to show people that they are on the market and available for the taking - I know one girl who always does this. I think she is weird and I thinks she can tell I feel that way about her cause she rejected my friend request on Facebook *we have mutual friends so we pretend to like each other.
