On this day June 17, 1999 I was working as a temp for Bell Atlantic Wireless (before it became Verizon)

This guy came on the television screen. JFK Jr was on a plane bound for Martha's Vineyard.

Many of us stood by this television, looking for hope. The only connection to the old days of Camelot would still be there. But alas. on July 21st. It never happened.

That was the day before I turned 30. I think I was at the county fair buying a Pikachu backpack plushy 👛 purse lol. My memory is on point👍

Yes it's shame he died so young, with his whole life ahead of him.
This date reminded me this was 3 years after my grand-dad passed and
1 year after my grandma passed away. So i can't forget this date
and sad to see the ones who loss their life so young with their whole
life ahead of them in this plane crash. I still believe in the Kennedy curse
