My ex broke up with me 2 weeks ago. He said he didn't love me anymore, that everything in the beginning was perfect but then his feelings fade. I was expecting this because he was acting distant, ignoring me and spending more time with his friends for some weeks. I kept asking him more details because I wasn't understanding his behavior and got a bit mad, but then I ended up saying "goodbye" and didn't talk to him anymore. It has been No Contact since then.
In the following day, some friends of mine saw him and they told me he was acting weird and uncomfortable around them. He looked at them with "fear", he seemed afraid of being approached by them about us. Actually my friends wanted to talk to him about what happened, but they couldn't that day.
Yesterday, another friend told me that he and my ex were hanging out and they saw me on the other side of the street. I noticed them too and kept walking, trying not to look at them and hoping they didn't see me. My friend told me my ex had the same thoughts I had. He said "omg, she's there" and started to walk faster. My friend was laughing and he asked him "why are you running away?" and he answered "she can't see me". Seriously...
I try to avoid him because it's awkward and I don't know how to act since I'm a little shy. It's uncomfortable because I still have feelings for him and it hurts bumping into him, it's easier to pretend I didn't see him.
What about him? I don't think he has the same reasons since he is the dumper and seems like he trully moved on because he's attracted to another girl already...
