What does it mean when a guy always massages my shoulders without me even asking?

This guy I have a crush on always massages my shoulders when he walks up to me, and I was just wondering if that meant something? He's the type that usually casually dates and sleeps with a lot of girls, but I'm not, yet he's always nice to me and I'm the only girl he always calls cute and always hugs me. I also frequently catch him staring at me, or watching me and then he smiles at me. The other day he just texted me "Goodmorning, have a nice day!" Out of the blue. He hasn't asked me out, does that mean he just sees me as a friend or what? Maybe when he always says I'm cute he means I'm not dating material or whatever? I'm really confused haha so I'd appreciate the help!! :)
