Why does my guyfriend always put me down?

He calls me lesbian, slut, and ugly. I am none of it.. He is just mean to me. He compliments other girls so nicely. I don't even know why he bother appraoching and talking to me then. Moreover, I am the only girl he talks this much. What's wrong with him?

Couple possibilities.
1.) He is trying to be funny, usually accompanied by a smile and heckle. Just tell him seriously you don't like it and how he is being mean. If he continues, tell him you will cut ties with him if he continues. If he continues...
2.) He is being an abusive friend. Walk away and cut ties.

You shouldn't have to put up with any abuse from him, even if he was sweet at one point or not. The only question is at this point whether he recognizes how insensitive he is being or not.

I don'think so. We both are friends. But he really acted angry and hurt when I asked if he wanna remain friends or not. I still dont know why the overreaction.

Honey you don't need someone like him, someone who brings you down for no reason. Plus, he probably wants to make you jealous by talking to other girls and complimenting them while he says shitty things to you. Either you talk to him about it or you leave him and forget about your friendship. A friend isn't supposed to bring you down, on the contrary, a real friend brings you up and fights your battles with you. A real friend is supposed to help you and be there for you whenever you need someone.

Yeah, cut him off. I know a guy who i was "friends" with, he used to insult me all the time, yet he'd say behind my back that he thinks im "too good for him/out of his league" etc. But yeah, i wouldn't be around him, otherwise he'll just lower your self esteem
