Will I look stupid if I unblock my ex after blocking him?

It's been 3 days only. I just think this worsens the situation. There should be no hatred involved - I'm okay with no contact. I just don't want to be harsh because he's a close family friend and I'm going to be seeing him around for my entire life. I'm just trying to avoid the awkward situation.
He never blocked me - even after I blocked him.

why block your ex in the first place, you only broke up with him. Blocking on facebook, should only be used if someone is bullying you or harassing you. But just blocking someone for no reason, is really immature behaviour.

Unblocking him would be a good start, no it won't make you look stupid. you will stupid for blocking him for no reason.

To be honest he probably didn't even notice the block. Just unblock him and pretend it never happened.

No , you won't appear stupid... sometimes we make rash decisions , then regret it. It shows after second thoughts you have thought better of it. You are just rectifying a wrong decision you made.
