Did my crush try to hide his erection?

It took me a really long time to realise this but I noticed the last time we were together for a whole day he was acting strange. This all happened at our uni library since we were cramming for exams.
-He squatted a lot (like he legit for up on the chair to squat/sit) but he did mention he likes to squat cause that helps the blood flow to his brain
-When he went to take a nap he curled up on his side but I think maybe that's just his preferred position to nap lol
-He wouldn't look me in the face when we were sitting close
-He kept leaving the table and I didn't think much of it at first but now I'm starting to think he might have gone to the bathroom since he was heading in that direction
-He was wearing a long, loose shirt and semi-loose skinny jeans but when he got up to stretch I noticed a slight bulge (like a fist sized bump pushing against the fabric only a tiny bit where his crotch area is) but it wasn't super big so that might have just been how he normally looks there LOL
-He put his hands in both his pockets when we was standing up but I'm think that's just how he normally walks
- He wouldn't get too close to me so that made me sad :c

I really doubt if he did ALL of those things to hide his erection. He may have done a couple or three. (Putting your hand in your pockets is classic technique for hiding an erection.) But even if he was hard that's no reason to not look at you when you're sitting close. Anyway, chances are he was hard at least part of the time you two were together.

Yeah like I mentioned a few of them I think it's just part of his normal mannerisms haha
It seriously freaked me out when I came to this conclusion though lol so I decided to get a second opinion here just to see if I was just over thinking or not.. Maybe I am. I guess only he knows.

I agree with @TadCurious think some of those things are just what he does but like when he puts his hands in his pockets, yeah that is to hide it. I do that sometimes too and getting up at random times is also a sign so yeah good job you got a guy to like you THAT MUCH :)

It sounds more like he also has a crush on you two. He might have done a few of them to hide his thing but most sound like he is unsure how to act sound you.

Not wanting to touch you can mean a lot of things. It usually means that he at least is not thinking of you just a freind if he is avoiding your touch. Try touching him and see how he reacts.

@hazoplmeught Oh noooo it's not like that
He brought a pillow to the library in case he wanted to nap and I wanted it so I could hug it since it was comfortable so I kinda borrowed it without his approval... Like he tried to get it back and say stuff like "Fight me" but all he really did was inch closer to me and not touch me LOL. He sort of just chickend out and told our friends to help him get his pillow back but they were all playing along with me haha.

And at some point during the night I was testing my foot on a pole that goes through the middle of the bottom of table and my foot was gently touching his knees I think... I could feel it cause I was only wearing socks but I doubt he even noticed.

yeah im with @Dim_121 try touching him and see how he reacts to that, but dont start intimately touching. I mean like a friendly push or nudge and stuff like that.

@hazoplmeught Oh I just remembered! During the night (since it was a pretty long night at the library and I don't remember everything that happened) I did smack my phone on his arm playfully but he didn't really wince lol. Also at one point we were sitting next to each other at the table and he sort of just put his head down to rest so being the arse I am I put a water bottle in his hoodie and he just took it out and looked at me with a smile but didn't say anything LOL.

After the test or when you have time try asking him if he wants to grab lunch. If your feeling brave after that try hinting that you like him. He is hesitant to go against you it sounds like. He is nervous enough not to try and get his pillow back. It definitely sounds like he is either scared to touch you because of personal reasons or he is really nervous because he has a crush on you. Talk to him if he is your crush try flirting with him a bit at least.

Oh haha we text a lot and I'm not good at flirting so he just tease him. He teases back too but sometimes the things he says makes me think he doesn't like me back. This happened today:

Me: Stay at least 5 ft away from me. I'm a cat magnet and I gotta protect my friends.

So I'm guessing that means he doesn't wanna come close to me LOL

True but usually when someone started off the conversation joking unless the topic changes or the mood changes they are still joking. That is one of the sad things about talking in text your never quite sure what the tone of something is.

I don't think so? It was out first time spending a long time together and we were up pretty late. He brought a pillow too cause we planned on pulling an all nighter but I ended up taking it LOL. He tried to get it back but he wouldn't touch me... He would try to inch closer but then hesitate to actually touch me so he asked some of our friends to help haha. In the end he just let me borrow the pillow. And we never did anything intimate cause we were surrounded by a lot of other students too.
