A guy (lets say John) who is friends with the guy who has to sit next to me (call him Bob) and they wanted to work together. John comes over and is like "No we're working over here" because Bob was packing up his things. Then John is like "switch seats" so that he is sitting next to me and Bob is in the empty desk. Why would a guy (who I have a mutual disapproval of) want to sit next to me now?
Can't he just want to sit there. My goodness not everything is about you, I get you probably have a crush on him but that doesn't mean he did anything because of you dude.

Because he wanted to sit there. Don't try to over-analyze his seating choice. there is no point.
It means his butt wants to be near your butt. This buttological equation causes all sorts of things in the universe, fortunately none of which is additional flatulence.
He might want to try and just mess with you or something. Hard to tell to be honest, maybe he's just that type of guy.
