There's a guy I'm interested in, and prior, I had wanted him to ask me to prom. But I just heard that I am "one of his choices of girls to ask," and his first choice is being asked by someone else. I am slightly disappointed. What do you guys think? His friends say that he's going to ask me, but it doesn't feel all that great to be told that I was one of his several options.
What should I do if I am second choice for his prom date?
