Alright, I'm in the *sort of* the same situation with my (ex)boyfriend.. I'm not quite sure what the hell we are.. All I know is that I've spent a lot of time crying over him and trying to figure things out... I've finally gotten it through my head that he does need time to mend, and he knows that I will wait... My advice to you: if you love her, you'll wait it out.. That's what I fully intend to do with my.. well, let's call him my "Lover."
To be honest, from a female point of view, she probably just needs her time. Women are complicated creatures.. We feel more violently than guys do.. It's just how we work.. But honestly, if you show her that you love her (with support, love, compassion, time, consideration, etc.. all those lovely things) she'll come around a lot quicker.. She'll realize that she's a lot better off with you and that she does love you. Woman take a long time to notice what's right in front of them (ie loving best friend). Sooner or later, she'll snap out of this stage.. She'll realize that she needs to move on, either that or she'll realize that she needs to settle down.. Like my "Lover" and yours, sooner or later, they're realize that being a party girl/boy isn't everything, and the time will come to settle down with the person that cares the most for them.. which isn't necessarily the boy/girl that they met at that party and "fell in lust" with.. Love is a curious thing.. I wish you the best of luck
