What does it mean if a guy says you have 'curves'?

I could totally be being paranoid because I'm not at all overweight more on the skinny side and I think it was meant in a good way but what more than one guy has complimented my 'curves'. What does it mean?

It's a vague term that means different things depending on who is using it. Obviously it means that you aren't straight up and down, you have a curvy figure. Where it gets complicated is that some people will use it as a low key term for overweight, some will use it to means shapely and others will use it to mean you have big tits and ass.

I wouldn't get too hung up over it. If we're overweight we tend to know that we are, unless you are suffering from anorexia or body dysmorphic disorder. You don't need someone else to tell you the shape of your body, you can see it in the mirror.

I think he is trying to compliment you without sounding too forward or fresh, like saying you are hot, or sexy, this could make some girls feel uncomfortable or awkward, but saying you have curves is saying the same in a non threating way.

Not quite. There's so many different opinions of what 'curves' are nowadays. I think typically big butt, large boobs but I wouldn't say that description fits me at all but yet guys say I have good curves

You're currently embodying the male cliché of not understanding girls' insecurities. I was simply looking for guys' perspective on how they would define curves (p much the whole reason the site exists.. to get the opposite sex's perspective)
