Help! This guy at the beach asked for my snapchat but never added me? Why?

so my friend and I were walking on the beach and this big group of guys walk up and this guy says "I have a question, do you have snapchat" and I said "yeah" so he scanned my snap code but never added me back. Later on in the day me and my friend were playing beach volleyball 1vs1 and the same group of guys stood near us for like 5 mins and then they asked if they could play too. They said they didn't know how to play so I don't know why they wanted to play with us? And he still didn't add me back (this all happened yesterday btw)

If you met them on the beach there's a good chance they had either been drinking or quite possibly on something. I've met many people out or at other places and I've done the same thing

Just be patient and wait. If he doesn't add you in like the next week say "Screw him" and just forget about it
