Does he like me or is he just drunk?

So this guy and I flirt none stop when we're together but that's really only when we're drunk. He gets all touchy feely and close but when the alcohol is taken away he still flirts but not as openly.

But the main problem is that he's still hung up on his ex after 8 years and still brings her around. She's moved on, so why can't he?

So I can't figure out if he actually likes me or if it's just drunken flirting.

I hate drunk flirts. They say the truth comes out when you're drunk.I beg to differ! He seems shy and unfortunately drunk makes 'men' out of mice. Enjoy the flirtations, its healthy. Don't bet on anything happening if he brings his ex around. You've already said that he is still hung up over her AFTER 8 YEARS! He may not move on for ages yet. Ask him to go out with you (not on a date) as friends NO DRINK ALLOWED and see what happens. I think a heart-to-heart is overdue don't you? -x-

He could be just a drunk flirt

And he could always be pathetically in love with a girl who's moved on

Best thing to do is to hang out when you're both completely sober and see how he is in a less distracting social situation so you can really get some one on one time

My opinion is that I think that when he's drunk he just you know drunk and just wants to have fun and forget bout his ex. try openly asking him ya know you don't have much to lose. and if he says it was friendly say you thought so too just checking. never let him know you hurt you if he does good luck
