Why would a guy keep pressuring a girl to drink?

And no, I don't think he wants sex. There's this guy in our group of friends who can't stand the fact that I don't drink. EVERY time he sees me he pressures me to drink, then when I don't, starts pointing it out to people.

So I don't drink alcohol-- never have-- because of its health effects (I'm a bit of a health nut) and I have an alcoholic in the family. I never mention it, I don't make a big deal out of it, and at parties I'll normally quietly grab a soda or something and hold it the whole night. I SWEAR I'm not being judgmental or weird (okay maybe semi-weird). The point is, my philosophy is you live your life the way you want, I'll live mine my way.

WTF is his deal? I've tried being nice to him, and I can't avoid him bc he's in our group of friends.

Ask him if thats how he gets laid, or mention that u dont need to escape from ur life, etc. logic bomb or shame him, and practice cuz itll happen often. I've been through the same shit, except they didn't get to outta hand cuz id eat their face or somethin

It's weird not to drink at a party, but it's weird to keep pressuring someone to drink. Better have that chastity belt locked up tight

No no no that's not what I mean, I am saying it's weird to go to a party and not drink there. It's weird because why else would you go to a party? It's suppose to be having fun and getting tipsy.

Ooohhh I see :) I go because I love dancing, and honestly, I still like being out and social even when I'm sober. I feel like I can have fun with or without alcohol
