Is it weird if the guy I'm seeing regularly checks my Snapchat location and score?

Question

this guy and I have been seeing each other increasingly more and more for a couple of months and we're exclusive but not yet boyfriend/girlfriend. We were talking a few nights ago and he let something about Snapchat slip of how he checks my Snapchat score to see if it goes up when I haven't yet answered his snaps, or once I went in ghost mode for my location (for about 2 hours one night) and he casually let on that he knew. And when I brought it up and what I was doing he was like oh that's why, and I could tell he checked my location. He tried to recover by saying he was checking where his cousins were at and that he saw me somewhere or normally sees me and hadn't or something but it has been a few times now. Since we work together, we both use Snapchat at work at times, and I sense he checks my score when I go on my phone at work to see if I'm snapping someone because I'll see him last active quite often without any points added to his score. Truthfully I didn't notice the location or score until I met him. Now because I'm trying to see if he's stalking me on there, I'm checking up on him. Is this weird of him to do or natural in today's age?

My opinion is that he really likes you and wants to keep up with what you're doing. I don't think it's too unusual. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend did something similar with me in the early part of our relationship. I can see why people might feel like it's stalking but since you're getting more deeply involved in a relationship, I don't really think it's a concern.

Does it bother you? Or does it make you feel good that he's so interested in you?

Yes it is weird. Infact its him seeing how much of you he can control. He is likely a controlling personality. Was it just the smapchat or other things where he tried to control you?

I don’t think it’s that weird. If he’s not acting upset or suspicious about your behavior I see no red flags. I check those things on the guy I like pretty frequently, like almost every time I open the app, but not because I want to tell him what to do, but because I care about him. I want to know what he’s up to and stuff. He knows I do it too and has no problem.

That's a lot of stalking. He checked ur score too that's kinda scary even if you are exclusive. But it does not seem to bother him so It just boils down to weither you care that he watches ur every move on there.
