I read your post and your response to the guy below and to be honest; you're intimidating. Guys like some fun, but most of them won't start a relationship with a drunk and stupid girl. However, you seem frustrated and I think you are a feminist. Who the heck cares that you made a career? So many guys do that too, you make it sound like guys must like you because you're hardworking? We want fun, not some ranting independent lady who has weird ideas.

i have the same problem! it sucks! my family calls it the "jeopardy!" test... if you can't be competitive in a game of jeopardy with my family then there's no hope for you... so coming from the girl who often outsmarts the boys... its hard to find a guy! :/

I always date smart girls. I can't stand dumb ones...I love to have an intelligent conversation with my significant other. It's the women that get those great jobs and then say to themselves "I don't need a man to provide for me now I can do that myself," I can't stand. They ruin the whole aspect of love by doing that. The girls that are still intelligent though and still want that guy in their life, that's my type of girl.
To be honest most guys that go for the wild, party air-headed types either want to remain dominant in the relationship or they aren't taking them seriously. They want sex and these girls are easy targets. Wish I found someone like you in my town, there are too many wild girls roaming around here.
You you answered your own questions. It' s because there dumb and easy. You would be a challenge. You're going after the wrong men if that's all you're can find. The elusive good guys are out there just gotta look more diligently.

I'm having the same issue as you are. They go for the "trophy wife" look who cares if she's educated or has a good personality they only want some something to show of to their friends. I'm sure you will and so will most of the educated women out there find a great guy who makes them happy and appreciates everything they have accomplished!
I wouldn't say I go for hardworking girls because she is more of a workaholic. I enjoy curvy-chubby girls that are intelligent (like book smart) who may need someone to help them with projects. My ideal match is a sexy librarian.
