What does it mean if a guy hugs you front on and lingers?

So I became friends with this guy a month or two back away on holidays and since coming home I've seen him a couple of times. Every time we meet or say goodbye he never lets me go without giving a hug and our bodies come into front on contact with each other and he wraps both his arms to around my back. He never lets me go without a hug and when I see him he immediately opens his arms wide.

I like him in more then a friend way so I am more than happy to hug for as long as he wants but does this action slightly give away at all what he feels for me?

Quite possibly this is a big sign of attraction. Two questions for you: When he hugs you is the front on contact just from the chest up, or do your hips/legs come into contact as well? (So basically the whole front of your bodies are touching each other.) Second, do you by chance have big boobs?

Haven't specifically thought about it but its generally from the waist up as we hug and no my boobs are just average size

Got it. I ask because a long hug is a good way to get a nice feel of the boobs. lol! Particularly if the girl is well endowed up top. If you're keeping hips apart when you hug (A-frame hug) that's definitely more platonic than if your hips are against each other.

Chances are you were doing the A-frame hug. If you're hugging so that your hips/waists are pushed up against each other, you probably would have noticed because you'd have been able to feel his penis pushing up against you. That's part of why the A-frame hug is much more platonic than a hug where your bodies are in full contact.

There are two types of hugs. Top hug and full contact. Top hug is a friend hug and lingering shows how important the huggee to the hugger. Full on hug is only appropriate for couples. Full on hugs are creepy and inappropriate if he's just a friend/acquaintance

If he likes you then a full body contact hug is not a very good way of expressing his interest. It's too creepy as if he's trying to cop a feel.
I always thought that a deep, lingering, passionate kiss has to come first and full body hug second.

Some people just need a hug. Especially when you don't get that much of it. Family is different. For some reason people get more comfort hugging a friend than family. Such as myself I have more comfort hugging a friend and girls have more a comforting side and it's just weird if a guy lingers in a hug with another guy.
