I don't know what does your basic knowledge of social cues tell you? I'll even break it down for ya. A man holding your gaze for more than three to five seconds shows romantic interest or murderous intent. Take from that what you will and you kids have fun.
It's not a kiss he's after specifically. He wants to know u, he wants to know ur intimate smile and perhaps can guess at what ur concealing, and finds it comfortable around u. Perhaps wants to look into ur eyes and create a bond.
its fairly obvious that someone is interested in someone, just make your mind up about this and stop asking for opinions. If you can't make your own decisions in the moment how are we meant to based off of your descriptions?
