Why does he keep our streak?

Ok so me and this guy had a snapchat streak for about two weeks, but then he lost it. It was whatever but we talked about it and he said he didn’t really like streaks and that he only had like two of them including mine that we use to have. So when he told me this I was like oh he doesn’t want a streak with me anymore but then he just kept snapping me & eventually we got it back. But anyways anytime we lose it I ask him if he wants to start it again & he always says yes, but if he doesn’t like streaks & barely has any why would he want to keep ours?

I know where he's coming from, I personally think streaks are kinda stupid but that doesn't matter. It seems like he genuinely likes talking to you and everything but he doesn't make it a personal mission to make sure he snaps you to keep that streak going. He snaps you because he likes talking to you and maybe would like to be more than friends, he doesn't snap you just to keep some meaningless streak

ohhh ok gotcha gotcha but yea they are pretty stupid no doubt lol. But yes omg that makes a lot of sense because even when he loses the streak he’ll be like oh no sorry I lost our streak, but then continues snapping me & eventually there will be a day when he doesn’t snap me back so we lose it, but it’s like irrelevant to him that we lost it cause he’ll keep snapping me anyways afterwards

haha no it’s okay! It’s pretty much this thing on snapchat where you snap someone everyday, & it keeps count of how many days you do it
