Guys, would you purposely avoid liking your crush’s pictures on Instagram?

There’s a guy who seems to be really interested in me based on the signs I see in real life. I don’t want to get into details because it would make this post too long, but just want to say that I’m not being delusional and myself and everyone who knows the details, thinks that he likes me. So then what I don’t get is that why he never likes my selfies on Instagram? I see him liking other people’s posts but he never likes mine, so I was wondering about it. Thoughts?

No no no. Most men want there dick wet ok? It's sad but true. And some can mature out of that selfish stage early or late. Depends on the person. But if I like someome and they attractive, as a guy I wanna make that shit known. So if I like a few, then she don't like my shit or send me a message then she don't care about the likes. So no, a guys not gonna avoid your shit because he likes you. Don't listen to anyone else. We make it known baby. Well I’ve never liked a single picture of his, and he sometimes used to like mine before but ever since I got the feeling that he likes me he’s stopped liking my pics altogether, that’s why I assumed there was a connection between not having a crush and not liking their posts

This could mean a million things. Maybe he doesn't see your photo depending on how many people he follows and how often he's on Instagram. Or he could be deliberately ignoring it. If I were you I wouldn't dwell on it too much because in the end it's just Instagram and it shouldn't be used as a means to determine how someone feels about you. I have avoided liking my crush's photos in the past and I know other people who do it, so it's not out of the ordinary.

Ok, I have a crush and because she is an attractive woman she automatically has a lot of followers. If she posts a pic in a nice dress there are immediately bunch of strange men liking her stuff. I don't want to seem like a simp and want to differentiate myself from the other guys. I also don't like the dynamic of being in a room full of men competing for her because it fucks up the power dynamics and makes my attention less valuable. Sounds strange but think, if you were a celebrity and got 1000 likes then any one individual like would feel less important. If you were just starting out and got 3 likes, those people are your day 1s and feel more valuable/legitimate. Even if you don't want to admit this, this is how humans are, we literally have hardwired instincts regarding perceiving relative status. In modern times/social media times women have a massive advantage and have 10x social media presence if they are young or attractive, this is a fact got look up some stats. So I generally I will only like her posts if they are about a successful creative project or business project. I will only give likes about physical appearance/ look how cool and interesting I am posts if they are evenly reciprocated. Not moving like this usually results in the guys being treated like a fan/option. The sociopaths/pickup artists don't mind this and view it as a numbers game and view you as replaceable. The sensitive types actually don't want to be in any womans roster of self esteem boosters

Personally, I am guilty of not liking my crush's posts. She already knows I like her, and we follow each other, but it's like an unspoken rule not to like your crush's posts. I really want to, but I feel it would make me seem more desperate (not to say that I'm not).
Though, she recently liked my post, which is a first. I then liked one of hers.
