I know girls get fluttery and blushy feelings when something happens with their crush or their boyfriend says something cute or kisses them. Does this happen to boys? And of all ages?
The short answer is YES! Absolutely! And during ALL ages that a girl has them.
For me, I think I get it 20 thousand times worse than the average person. You see I have anxiety from being sexually abused as a kid. So falling in love or connecting in a deep way is pretty scary. I used to hyperventilate and get panic attacks from liking a girl, going on a date, or just kissing. Girls would usually just see me as a nerdy clutz of a guy or someone who was just absent minded. In reality I was going nuts mentally and emotionally.
Since I have gotten help its normalized. But funny story... I have a HUGE crush on a student dentist who has been operating on me. We've become pretty close and had a lot of deep conversation. But here is the funny part... in the first 5 appointments where she would check my blood pressure... it would be HIGH blood pressure. And mind you... I am a very slim and fit guy who is in great shape. I always have normal blood pressure readings too... but when I am with her? Always read as high blood pressure.
At the same dental clinic I had appointments with other girl student dentists. I even got a tooth pulled! Each time read normal.
I only had high blood pressure with HER. I am pretty sure she knew why too. She kept saying that she considered the trip "up the stairs" when doing the readings. haha. Bullshit. I was crushing BIG time. Last appointment she was winking at me like 5 times and I was staring at her deep blue eyes... I swear to god there is a heaven on earth and it is in those eyes!
Holy s*** yes!. For a long time I thought I was a girl because I got more butterflies than they did. When I was young I was very awkward and shy and if a girl spoke to me I would almost melt inside. Sometimes even to this day even though I'm partnered it still happens. If I find somebody I am very attracted to and they speak to me I often find myself fidgeting and babbling wow trying to find words to say. It could be why had a hard time getting a date sometimes. They probably thought I was some kind of goofy confused lunatic that had escaped from the love asylum.

Yes, guys get that nervous feeling, too. It happens more often when we are younger. As we get experience with dating, it begins to fade and then it may happen only if we meet a girl who has us entirely captivated.
I'm an older person and I feel like every passing day is another lost day to meet someone and get that special feeling... and believe me that is a sad thought. We also love that feeling of falling in love.
Even at my age, old enough to be your father, I still feel nervous, unsure, when asking some lady out!! Even the second, and third date, sometimes, if I really like her! I see her feeling the same, and maybe for more mature people, there is more pressure, and more feelings?
Yes I get butterflies in my stomach too but in a good way. I get kinda shaky and can't stop thinking about it when a girl responds to my messages on here with something sexy. I wish a few of us could meet up for a bit of harmless no strings fun, that would be so awesome, but also knowing how horny you are just by the way you act and talk to me is also really fucking horny, I fuckin love it!

That was mostly a sports thing for me, pre-game haha. I guess it’s happened a few times though. I need to be really into the girl, I think. There’s a different kind of exhilaration with a hook-up type thing, but it’s not butterflies.
definitely! Used to get them at starting line of every race... must be anticipation. Had them heavy in HS with the girl I was nuts about, and at other times in the romance circles. not sure those butterflies are good or bad.
Guys probably get some of the same feelings that women describe as butterflies in their stomach, but guys would probably use a different term to describe the feeling.
Oh most definitely. I remember once in middle school there was a tiny rumor that a girl liked me and when I first saw her after hearing that rumor my stomach definitely felt like it did a full double backflip lol.
Yeah when I was a kid I guess one could equate that to what I felt. I was probably12 the last time anything remotely resembling these sensations existed for me.
Hell yes ! I still get butterflies on first dates with women and especially on hard crushes. The desire that builds up is sometimes. Hard to deal with.
