The problem is I’m a 17 year old male, weighing 160 pounds with roughly 20-22% body fat. I don’t care about being ripped as I’m having a super low body fat, I just want to get big/strong as fast as possible so I can maybe start training for boxing. Because I know having good reflexes and stamina is important and all, but first I’ll need to pack on some muscle before I get into technique and actual training.
I plan on purchasing a punching bag in the near future, but in the meantime I want to gain a lot of muscle.
To any experienced people out there; how much meat/protein should I eat in a day and how often should I workout, and how should I workout?(I don’t have a gym to go to so I’m primarily focusing on body weight exercises for now). I have a pull up bar at my home.
some other stats: I can do about 25-30 pushups (where my chest touches the ground) max.
I can do about 5 pull ups max.
I feel like I’m pretty weak but I know I have a very good frame for putting on weight because my chest is very broad and I don't know I just look
like I’m strong when I’m really not if you get what I mean.
Also I’m thinking of taking a photo of myself to compare how the visual changes as I get stronger, and if it might give people the idea of how my skeletal frame is. I know it’s cringey, but I think it’d be kind of cool to see the progress.
