cos I was at work the other day and a friend I hadn’t seen about for a couple of days he was like Betty, I was like where you been haven’t seen your for ages and he was like I’ve been avoiding you I laughed and said why he was like cos you a hard nut then he was like nah your a big softy aren’t you? Then I was like c u later and he was like bye pal

Yea, completely depends on your relationship with him, him calling you softy can mean a lot of things, from calling you weak, to seeing you as a kind, delicate person, and it could be a totally random thing he heard someone else call someone and just repeated it

I don't see it as an insult just friendly joking. However it is obviously bothering you on some level which makes me wonder. maybe it's just something you were sensitive about like some people with their weight. people can joke and say fatty but they take it seriously
