Is this weird that my boyfriend had never taken me out to eat before even though he buys himself breakfast?

He does cook for me he makes noodles from a bag tofu and broccoli almost everytime i go to his house but he has never taken me out to eat I have taken him out to eat though

If you guys have been dating for a significant amount of time, then it's pretty odd that he hasn't. Why? Is he embarrassed? Isn't he proud to call you his girl? Does he not want to be seen with you in public? Has he hidden it from his family that he has a girlfriend and wants to avoid getting caught? These are the questions you need to ask him or yourself.

I wouldn’t think it’s weird, but maybe it’s uncommon. Just ask him if he could take you out to dinner sometime! It shouldn’t be a big deal if you’ve taken him and paid multiple times before.

Is he really money conscious? Me and my partner are poor college students and we both acknowledge that so we always cover our own food.
