What do you think this guys behavior means when its all put together?

He has a girlfriend

But he hits on me flirts (he's very outgoing by the way). He might be joking, lying etc I don't know but he often insinuates im beautiful, has even said im attractive to him.

But he also often asks me who i like at our job, like if i like so and so if he sees some guy talking to me in any way. And 'joked' that he wants to set me up.

Maybe he's attracted to you, and him asking who you like and joking that he wants to set you up could be his way of knowing your type and possibly testing the waters so to speak
