Why would a guy start dragging in his replies and being dry?

I was talking / dating this guy for a few months and all of a sudden he went hot to cold... literally in one day, there was no argument, no yelling or anything, we had texted the entire day, being flirty / sexual, talking about work, etc and the next day and days after he changed on me
Why are guys like this? What can cause a guy to do this?

Depends on the guy and the situation. If he's only looking for sex and he's not getting it he'll ghost. If he is getting it and finds a better deal, he'll ghost.

If he's looking for a relationship and sees red flags and isn't assertive enough to confront her he'll ghost.

Sometimes he's just a duck. And he'll ghost.

Okay I have been guilty of " ghosting" women... in my experience though... what made me do it is that she was either too aggressive.. or acted weird... in my honest opinion? guys are assholes... find someone better :) GOOD LUCK
